I LOVE going to fabulous fashion events and Vice As If's "A Night of Style" Image Consulting launch party did not disappoint. I met tons of great people and networked with other wonderful fashion bloggers and people in the fashion industry. Vice As If is an upscale unisex image and wardrobe consulting company founded by Genevia Sawyer and Sade Teyibo who got their start as fashion bloggers:) They also completed internships in Milan, London and New York. It was VERY exciting and inspiring to see two beautiful young women living out their goals and dreams and I wish them much success with their business. Being cold never looked so HOT



Sure it’s cold out but that doesn’t mean your winter wardrobe has to be! Sweaters are my fav HOT fashion item to wear when the air gets a little bit nippier and the harsh winter weather begins to push through. What's not to love about sweaters? They’re warm, fuzzy, comfortable, cute and come in a variety of styles. Long, off the shoulder, cropped, knit, cotton, solid, patterns, oversized, fitted and an array of colors! Sweaters are the perfect match with a pair of leggings or jeans but I also like pairing them with shorts, skirts and tights! During the winter I enjoy a lot of cozy lounging and cuddling and it’s important to look fashionable while doing it! Sweaters are my go to for a cold night in or a HOT night out;) So while everyone else is freezing and hating the cold, you’ll be enjoying it because you’re hot, and HOT never gets cold.

the IN crowd...Ann Taylor Fashion Show and Shopping Party

What can be better than Happy Hour after a long, hard day at the office? An Ann Taylor Fashion Show and Shopping Party of course! After escaping my desk at work, I grabbed some friends and headed to the exclusive fashion event that was being held at Ann Taylor's new concept store in downtown Washington, D.C. It was so much fun and the store is beautiful! Great lighting and gorgeous chandeliers. It was a real treat to be one of the first people to see the new collection and let me tell you...it's to DIE for! I wanted to purchase everything! Shoes, belts, faux furs, holiday dresses and lots of shiny jewelery. We enjoyed our exclusive shopping experience as we sipped champagne, ate yummy cupcakes and met some very cool fashionistas:) I sensed a theme as I viewed all the new inventory and Electric Blue seemed to be it. Definitely a color I will be adding to my collection this season. I use to only think of Ann Taylor as a professional clothing store for very petite women, but a good friend of mine is an Ann Taylor Stylist and seeing her amazing, quality clothing has definitely opened my eyes, not to mention the great friend discounts;) Thanks to her my closet is quickly filling up with lots of Ann Taylor merchandise. If your're ever in the Washington, D.C. area, I would strongly suggest you check out the store. There probably won't be any champagne or cupcakes, but I'm sure your shopping experience will still be fabulous!
